Background Information: | The PrecisION®® rNav1.8 Recombinant Stable Cell Line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying rNav1.8 ion channels, including drug candidates which affect channel function. This cell line enables assessment of ion channel function via detection of electrophysiological signals. The included cell line overexpresses rNav1.8 ion channels. Upon ligand/agonist induced channel activation, response can be detected via automated or manual electrophysiological techniques. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. Please note that this product expresses the rat version of the protein. |
