Background Information: | The PrecisION® hNav1.8/β1 Recombinant Stable Cell Line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying Nav1.8/β1 ion channels, including drug candidates which affect channel function. This cell line enables assessment of ion channel function via detection of electrophysiological signals. The included cell line overexpresses Nav1.8/β1 ion channels. Upon ligand/agonist induced channel activation, response can be detected via automated or manual electrophysiological techniques. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. |
