Biological Information
Background Information:
The PrecisION® hKCNQ1/hminK Recombinant Stable Cell Line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying KCNQ1/hminK ion channels, including drug candidates which affect channel function. This cell line enables assessment of ion channel function via detection of electrophysiological signals. The included cell line overexpresses KCNQ1/hminK ion channels. Upon ligand/agonist induced channel activation, response can be detected via automated or manual electrophysiological techniques. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells.
