Background Information: | The PathHunter® mGALR1 Cell Pool is a stable, engineered cell pool for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This cell pool enables assessment of ligand (e.g. galanin) based activation of mGALR1 GPCR activity via detection of β-arrestin recruitment. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged mGALR1 and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of mGALR1 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. This stable cell pool is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. Please note that this product expresses the Mouse version of this protein. |
