| Background Information: | 5-OxoETE is a keto acid analog of 5-hydroxyicosatetraenoic acid (5-HETE) that stimulates cytosolic calcium mobilization in neutrophils, actin polymerization, CD11b expression, and L-selectin shedding. It is a chemoattractant for eosinophils, neutrophils, basophils and monocytes, and an agonist of oxoeicosanoid (OXE) receptors (EC50=0.33nM). Provided as 25 μg of dry powder. |
