Biological Information

Background Information:

N-Terminal 6His-tagged, recombinant, human full length STK32C. STK32C is a serine/threonine kinase that is highly expressed in the brain, but the specific functions of this enzyme are currently unknown. STK32C is overexpressed in bladder cancer and is also a prognostic marker for kidney and liver cancers. It may also be involved in mood disorders, as DNA methylation changes in this gene have been linked to adolescent depression.
