Background Information:
PrecisION™ hnAChR α7/ric3 (HEK 293) Ready-to-Assay Frozen Cells provide an easy-to-use cell based assay to study nACh α7/ric3 ion channels, including drug candidates which affect channel function. These Ready-To-Assay Frozen Cells enable assessment of ion channel function via detection of electrophysiological signals. The included cells overexpress nACh α7/ric3 ion channels. Upon ligand-induced channel activation, response can be detected via automated or manual electrophysiological techniques. These cells are provided as single-use vials of cryopreserved cells.
