Background Information: | The PathHunter® GHR-JAK2 Functional assay cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting CTKs. This cell line enables assessment of GHR activation via detection of JAK2 mediated phosphorylation-induced SH2 domain protein recruitment. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses PK-tagged GHR cytokine receptor, an untagged CTK JAK2 and EA-tagged SH2 domain protein. Upon activation of the cytokine receptor, CTK-based receptor phosphorylation leads to SH2-EA recruitment and production of EFC signal. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. |
