Biological Information
Background Information:
The KILR® Jurkat TIM3 cell line is a stable, engineered target cell line to measure direct cell death mediated by immuno-oncology treatments (e.g. checkpoint inhibitors, checkpoint agonists, bispecifics, CAR-T, and more) via Antibody Dependent Cell-mediated Cytotoxicity (ADCC), Complement Dependent Cytotoxicity (CDC), and Antibody Dependent Cell Phagocytosis (ADCP). This product uses EFC technology. The cell line overexpresses a PL- tagged housekeeping gene as well as untagged TIM3. Once the cells have been lysed by effector cells, PL is released to the media, where EA contained in the detection kit produces an EFC signal proportional to the level of PL released. This allows for calculation of percent lysis of the KILR® cell line.
This stable engineered cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells.
