Background Information:

The ChemiSCREEN™ mGLU2 Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor Membrane Preparation is derived from proprietary stable recombinant cells to ensure high levels of GRM2 surface expression. ChemiSCREEN™ membrane preps can be used to screen for GPCR activity using GTPγS assays. Increased GPCR activation levels will lead to higher radioactive signal. Membrane preps contain 1mL of 1mg/mL frozen membranes derived from a stably modified clonal cell line which was chosen for optimal receptor expression.
