Background Information:
Stem cell factor (SCF) is a cytokine with important roles in hematopoiesis, spermatogenesis, and melanogenesis. It potently binds the c-KIT receptor (CD117) and other cytokines to preserve the viability and facilitate the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. Soluble and transmembrane versions of SCF are involved in hematopoiesis. Provided as 2μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer.
