Background Information:
Interleukin 24 (IL-24) is a pro-apoptotic cytokine protein of the IL10 family that is a mediator of the immune response. It is recognized as a tumor-suppressing protein due to its role in control of cell survival and proliferation through activation of the STAT1 and STAT3 transcription factors. Important roles in wound healing, psoriasis, and cancer tissues. Agonist for IL20RA and IL22RA1. Provided as 20 μg of dry powder alongside reconstitution buffer.
