Background Information:
The PathHunter® Human NF-kB Pathway Reporter Cell-Based Assay Kit (U2OS) utilizes the U2OS NF-kB Pathway Reporter cell line. The stable engineered cell line is designed for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) affecting the NF-kB pathway. This cell line enables assessment of NF-kB pathway stimulation based on changes in the expression of a NF-Kb response element-driven reporter protein. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line expresses PL-tagged reporter protein under the control of a NF-KB pathway-inducible transcriptional response element. Pathway activation induces expression of the PL-tagged protein, allowing detection of EFC signal upon addition of EA-containing detection reagent.
This kit includes a stable engineered cell line (supplied as two vials of cryopreserved cells); cell line specific reagents for cell thawing, propagation, detachment, cryopreservation, and cell plating; and a 10‑plate detection kit required to run the assay.
