Biological Information

Background Information:

The PathHunter® MR Nuclear Translocation cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates affecting NHR activation and nuclear translocation. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. aldosterone) based NHR activation via detection of resulting MR nuclear translocation. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses PL-tagged MR NHR and nuclear localized EA. Upon activation of MR, induced nuclear translocation leads to production of EFC signal.
This stable engineered cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells.
