Neuromedin B (NMB) is a mammalian peptide related to bombesin that is present in the CNS and GI tract. It acts as a regulator of exocrine and endocrine secretions, cell growth, body temperature, smooth muscle contraction, and blood pressure and glucose levels. Potent agonist of the neuromedin B receptor NMBR (IC50=2nM). Provided as 1 mg of dry powder.
