Background Information:

The KILR® NCI-N87 ADCP Bioassay Kit is a complete, optimized plate-based assay for quantitative measurement of antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) against HER2-expressing target cells in a robust, non-radioactive, dye-free co-culture model. Designed for therapeutic antibody development, the assay provides a streamlined, high-throughput workflow to characterize Fc-mediated effector function and support lead optimization, biosimilar assessment, early screening, characterization, and potency testing in lot release programs. The kit includes ready-to-use cryopreserved target cells, assay plates, and detection reagents, enabling rapid implementation with high reproducibility. AssayComplete™ Cell Plating 39 (CP39) Reagent is required for running the assay and is available separately. The bioassay has been optimized for a 96-well format.
Primary macrophages procured from validated sources are used as effector cells in the assay.
