Background Information:
ɣ-Aminobutyric acid (GABA) is the chief inhibitory neurotransmitter of the CNS. Reduces neuronal excitability, regulates muscle tone, relieves anxiety, promotes lean muscle growth, burns fat, stabilizes blood pressure, and improves mood. Used to reduce symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Agonist of the γ-aminobutyric acid receptors GABAA and GABAB. Provided as 10 mg of dry powder.
