Biological Information
Background Information:
The PathHunter® mPTGIR Cell Pool is a stable, engineered cell pool for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This cell pool enables assessment of ligand (e.g. prostaglandin I2, beraprost) based activation of mPTGIR GPCR activity via detection of β-arrestin recruitment. The included cell pool overexpresses ProLink-tagged mPTGIR and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of mPTGIR stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. This stable cell pool is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. Please note that this product expresses the Mouse version of this protein.
