Activity Based Universal Assay for Any Kinase or ATPase

DiscoveRx offers a unique ADP accumulation assay format to study active kinases. ADP Quest™ and ADP Hunter Plus™ family of assay are gain of signal assays, that are compatible at a range of ATP concentrations, including those at the ATP Km value. The assays employs a generic, non-antibody based, non-radioactive method to detect the amount of ADP produced during phosphorylation. This unique assay format allows one to identify kinase inhibitors at a constant ATP concentration.

Two formats are available, one of which is optimized for research and kinase lead optimization studies (ADP Quest™ and ADP Quest™ HS), while the other is optimized for high-throughput screening of large compound libraries (ADP Hunter™Plus and ADP Hunter™ HS). These approaches employ a proprietary coupled enzyme system, which results in sensitive fluorometric detection of ADP.
