HitHunter® cAMP

HitHunter® cAMP assays are routinely used in therapeutic campaigns to examine Gi and Gs pharmacology and function. These cAMP assays exhibit robust performance, reproducibility, flexibility and scalability that accelerates and simplifies bench-top assay development to high throughput screening. High tolerance to serum and plasma and broad compatibility to standard plate readers make it the most user-friendly, homogeneous, non-radioactive assay in the market.

HitHunter® cAMP assays are competitive immunoassays. Free cAMP from cell lysates competes for antibody binding against
labeled cAMP (ED-cAMP conjugate). Unbound ED-cAMP is free to complement EA to form active enzyme by EFC, which subsequently
hydrolyzes substrate to produce signal. A positive signal generated is directly proportional to the amount of free cAMP bound
by the binding protein.
