ProLabel™ Vectors

Build Protein Trafficking Assays with our ProLabel™ Cloning and Expression Vectors
ProLink Cloning Vectors are designed such that the gene of interest is cloned in frame with the complementing fragment of β-gal termed ProLabel (PL). ProLabel is a high affinity tag used for construction of assays to directly measure the effect of test compounds on protein translocation, secretion or degradation in whole mammalian cells. ProLabel Vectors can also be used to monitor general protein expression in a convenient antibody-free format with our ProLabel Detection Kit (plate-based) or EAstern Blot Assay Kit (membrane detection). ProLabel Cloning Vectors are engineered for cloning a selected gene fused to either the N-or C-terminus of ProLabel. The vectors are available in 3 different reading frames (N1, N2, N3 and C1, C2, C3) to facilitate preparation of the fusion protein construct.
Choose a ProLabel or ProLink Expression Vector: ProLabel and ProLink Expression Vectors are available with the 4 kDa tag on a wide variety of proteins.
Product Features
•Small, 4 kDa ProLink tag is less likely to perturb normal protein function
•Develop novel assays to identify the effects of siRNA, therapeutic antibodies,
small molecules, etc.
