Biosensor Cell Lines, Biomarkers and Detection Kits

DiscoveRx's proprietary Enzyme Fragment Complementation (EFC) technology offers drug discovery the means to interrogate various biomolecular reactions for advancing therapeutic drug and screening programs. Inactive β-galactosidase enzyme has two fragments, ED (enzyme donor) and EA (Enzyme acceptor). ED is a small (4-11 kD) non-isotopic, non-bead based label in the EFC assay system. It can either be chemically conjugated for biochemical in vitro based competitive immunoassays such as cortisol or cGMP or recombinantly expressed in cells as a ProLabel fusion protein for measuring translocation and protein expression.
