TAE684 (NVP-TAE684) is a synthetic potent and selective inhibitor of the kinase ALK (IC50=3nM) as well as FLT3 and TIE2 (IC50=3nM and 12nM, respectively). It is 100 times more selective for ALK than InsR, and is effective at inhibiting the NPM-ALK fusion protein responsible for survival and proliferation of anaplastic large-cell lymphomas (ALCLs).
