CCL13 is a cytokine protein involved in the induction of chemotaxis in monocytes, eosinophils, T lymphocytes, and basophils by binding to cell surface receptors like CCR2, CCR3, and CCR5. Activitiy of this protein has been linked to allergic reactions such as asthma, and can be induced by the inflammatory cytokines, including interleukin-1 and TNF-α.
