FTY720 Phosphate

FTY 720 phosphate, or Fingolimod, is a sphingosine analog and immunomodulating drug currently approved for multiple sclerosis treatment. It is derived from the fungal metabolite myriocin (ISP-1), and acts as a potent modulator for sphingosine-1 phosphate receptors, encouraging recruitment of lymphocytes into the CNS during an immune response.

Cells were plated in a 384-well plate and incubated overnight at 37°C/5% CO₂ to allow the cells to attach and grow. Cells were then stimulated with a control agonist, using the assay conditions described below. Following stimulation, signal was detected using the PathHunter® Detection Kit according to the recommended protocol.
