Dopamine

Dopamine hydrochloride is an endogenous neurotransmitter with sympathomimetic properties that is a potent agonist of the dopamine receptors D1-5. Increases heartbeat and blood flow to the body's tissues, also playing a role in reward-motivated behavior. Addictive drugs tend to increase dopamine activity, and multiple nervous system diseases are associated with its dysfunction, including Parkinson's and schizophrenia. Precursor in noradrenalin and adrenalin biosynthesis.
