PathHunter® Darbepoetin Alfa Bioassay Kit

The PathHunter Darbepoetin Alfa Bioassay Kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to measure drug potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay asseses ligand (e.g. Erythropoietin) based on activation of EPOR Kinase activity via detection of Dimerization. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged EPOR and EA-tagged . Activation of EPOR stimulates the recruitment of and produces EFC signal.This assay has been optimized and qualified with Aranesp® (not supplied in the bioassay kit). Aranesp® is a registered trademark of Amgen Inc.. Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates.

This control ligand is not intended for use as a reference standard for validation studies and lot release applications. Typically, a reference medicinal product (RMP) that has been pre-defined by the customer as an internal reference standard is used for those applications. The RMP is not provided with the bioassay kit or supplied by Eurofins DiscoverX.
