PathHunter® CHO-K1 CCR2 Bioassay Kit

The PathHunter CHO-K1 CCR2 Bioassay Kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to measure drug potency and detect neutralizing antibodies. This bioassay asseses ligand (e.g. Recombinant Human MCP-1 (CCL2)) based on activation of CCR2 GPCR activity via detection of β-Arrestin recruitment. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged CCR2 and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of CCR2 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. Bioassay kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, control agonist, detection reagent, and assay plates.

This control ligand is not intended for use as a reference standard for validation studies and lot release applications. Typically, a reference medicinal product (RMP) that has been pre-defined by the customer as an internal reference standard is used for those applications. The RMP is not provided with the bioassay kit or supplied by Eurofins DiscoverX.
