Background Information:
PathHunter® U2OS BCMA Internalization Cell Line is engineered to co-express the ProLink™ (PK) tagged BCMA receptor, and an Enzyme Acceptor (EA) tag localized to the endosomes. Ligand (e.g. BAFF, anti-BCMA antibody) binding to the receptor stimulates receptor internalization, resulting in colocalization of the receptor-PK with the EA in the endosomes, and forcing complementation of the two β galactosidase (β-gal) enzyme fragments (EA and PK). The resulting functional β-gal enzyme hydrolyzes substrate to generate a chemiluminescent signal.
This stable engineered cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells.
