InCELL Hunter™ Human Bcl2L1-Bim Target Engagement Cell-Based Assay Kit (U2OS)

Background Information:

The InCELL Hunter™ Human Bcl2L1-Bim Target Engagement Cell-Based Assay Kit (U2OS) utilizes the InCELL Hunter™ U2OS Bcl2L1-Bim Protein Binding Cell Line. This stable engineered cell line provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study small molecule drug candidates that disrupt protein binding. This kit assesses compound-based disruption of Bcl2L1-Bim binding via detection of Bim levels. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses Bcl2L1 target in an untagged form and Bim binding partner fused to PL. When a compound engages the Bcl2L1 target protein, partner binding is disrupted and the destabilized Bim is degraded, leading to a loss of EFC signal upon addition of EA containing detection reagent.
This kit includes a stable engineered cell line (supplied as two vials of cryopreserved cells); cell line specific reagents for cell thawing, propagation, detachment, cryopreservation, and cell plating; and a 10‑plate detection kit required to run the assay.
