Background Information:

The PathHunter® Human GR Nuclear Translocation Cell-Based Assay Kit (CHO-K1) utilizes the GR Nuclear Translocation cell line. The stable engineered cell line is for use in studying drug candidates affecting NHR activation and nuclear translocation. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. dexamethasone) based NHR activation via detection of resulting GR nuclear translocation. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses PL-tagged GR NHR and nuclear localized EA. Upon activation of GR, induced nuclear translocation leads to production of the EFC signal.
This kit includes a stable engineered cell line (supplied as two vials of cryopreserved cells); cell line specific reagents for cell thawing, propagation, detachment, cryopreservation, and cell plating; and a 10‑plate detection kit required to run the assay.
