Background Information:
Sauvagine is a protein that belongs to the corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) family and functions as a neuropeptide. It is an agonist for corticotropin releasing hormone receptors 1, 2a, and 2b (Ki=9.4, 9.9, and 3.8nM, respectively). Physiological effects include potent hypotension and diuresis. Provided as 0.5 mg of dry powder.
