Background Information:
Dexamethasone is an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant corticosteroid medication. Its glucocorticoid effect is 25 times more potent than cortisol. Uses include inflammation relief and treatment of arthritis, rheumatologic problems, skin diseases, allergies, asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease, and certain cancers. Acts as an agonist for glucocorticoid receptor (GR). Provided as 10 mg of dry powder.
