Learn More About the Unique Advantages of PathHunter™ ß-Arrestin for GPCR Screening

  • Large assay windows provide increased confidence in results
  • G-Protein-coupling independent-ideal for orphan receptors
  • More direct than 2nd messengers means smaller chance of false positives
  • Fast and simple with a microplate read out saves time and operating cost

PathHunter ß-Arrestin Assays are revolutionary high-throughput screening assays for monitoring GPCR activation following ligand stimulation without an imaging instrument, fluorescent protein tag, or radioactivity. Instead, the assays detect GPCR activation through ß-Arrestin binding to the expressed GPCR of interest, measuring the interaction of the two proteins using enzyme fragment complementation. The single-addition chemiluminescent detection protocol makes the assays ideal for microplate formats.

Development of a non-imaging homogeneous assay format for analysis of arrestin recruitment as a detection method for generic GPCR screening
